HAPPY SPRING BREAK!

Hi! So spring break is almost over. So sad. We have had a wonderful break and I have loved every second getting to be home with Julian. Recap: My mom drove into town last Friday to start off our week. She was planning to stay the whole week but I decided to pack up and drive home with her on Wednesday and take Julian to see my family and then we would fly back on Saturday (today). Soooo in the mean time having my mom around was soooooooo nice. I was able to get some much needed house cleaning done and she was a huge help. When it stopped raining and the sun came out Monday, we went out and bought some plants to make a flower bed in my front yard. I worked alllllll afternoon and my hamstrings were so sore I could hardly walk for the next 3 days but it looks great and I'm just crossing my fingers that it actally grows. We'll see. The whole time my mom was here at my house every night Julian would go to sleep around 8 and sleep til 4ish and then go back to sleep for a couple hours. So we were planning to start our trip wednesday based on his schedule. Of course Tuesday night he decides to wake up at 11:30 and 2:30 and NOT want to go back to sleep. Fun Fun. We started off anyays about 5:30 Wednesday moring and Julian was amazing. He slept, ate, talked, slept, ate talk, etc... He was a great traveler. Wednesday night we had dinner with my grandad and my mom's family in Rotan and then Thursday we headed to Knox City. My grandmother was very suprised to see us. We had such a great visit with her and we went to visit everyone else in town over the age of 90 :) haha. I'm kidding. He has a lot of "great grandmas" who love him. We got to hang out and spend two days with my brother and his family which was really nice then we woke up early this morning and headed to Lubbock to visit a couple people and catch my flight. I got to meet up with my college roommate, Monica, and then another college fried and her new little boy who is two months older than Julian. It was so great to see them. Then I took Julian to meet a couple of my cousins, ate lunch and headed to the airport. I was a little nervous about the flight but confident. He was great at the airport. Waiting for the flight, I changed his diaper and he laid there on his mat and just talked and smiled at everone. I sat him up in his car seat and he did the same. Then they called "travelers with young children." That was me! So I walk down the tunnel -- still confident. We step in the plane and of course it is 155 degrees in there. Julian was already a little hungry and had been patient long enough so he decided to let everyone know he was VERY VERY angry with everything. Poor dude was so mad and hot and hungry and very sleepy and the poor passengers AND HIS POOR MOTHER!! Even though it felt like he screamed for a couple hours, I think it was only about 10 or so mins until we started taxing to take off and then he gave up and he was OUT. I made him keep sucking on his passifier on our way up and he slept until we were about to land and then he ate his bottle while landing and we were good to go. So over all, he was a wonderful little traveler. Next time I know that he will be wearing as little clothing as possible and I will need to bring my own personal A/C for the plane because my little boy is like his mommy and do NOT like to be hot. I was soooo worried about the other people on the plane. I felt horrible. But I guess this isn't the first time something like this has happened because the airline has figured out that they put all babies and children at the back of the plane. So at least everyone around me was very understanding and they all were encouraging me saying that they have all been there. Whewwwwww!!!! That 10 minutes made me tired. Oh and as we are fixing to get on the plane Jerry calls and says that his engine at work had broke down so he wasn't sure if he'd b there to pick us up but he was going to try to find someone who could pick us up. That was a little stressful for me hoping that after this flight that someone would be there to GET US HOME. Thankfully things happened to work out perfectly for Jerry and he was pulling up as soon as Julian and I walked out the door. Perfect timing. I had some sonic and now I'm home with my three favorite boys.. I am a happy girl. I had a wonderful spring break!! Here are a few pictures from our trip: HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!
