Thank You, Thanksgiving!

Thank You, Thanksgiving! - this is the name of a children's book I read to my kids every year at school. It's just a little girl who walks around saying thank you for everything - which is most likely what God would like for us to do but I often forget. It reminds me every year how much I have to be thankful for. With my students we always talk about the four F's we are thankful for: our family, our friends, our food, and our freedom. Everything pretty much falls under the umbrella of one of the four F's.
I'm thankful to be a child of God.
I'm thankful that His mercies are brand new every morning.
I'm thankful for my Julian.. I can't wait to meet him - 5 days!!
I'm thankful for Jerry and him being great.
I'm thankful for my Mom.. she does too much and I'm so grateful
I'm thankful for my job, my supportive co workers, and my students.
I'm thankful for technology keeping in touch with all my friends and family.
I'm thankful for my Odis P.
I'm thankful for my best friend Kelly and her ALWAYS being there for me.
I'm thankful that I only have less than a week to wait to meet my son.
I'm thankful for my mom's chicken n dressing with cranberry sauce.
I'm thankful for deviled eggs.
I'm thankful for lower gas prices even if it's just for a while.
I'm thankful for my house.
I'm thankful that I got to experience the miracle of being pregnant.
I'm thankful for good sleep.
I'm thankful for good garage sales.
I'm thankful for the Christmas season!!

2 weeks notice!

It's crazy to think that 2 weeks (14 days!!!) from now, I could have my Julian here. I am really hoping that he does make his grand entry into the world on December 4th. When I was told by one doctor that I will probably have him the first week in December I automatically wanted it to be on the 4th. December 4th is a very special day for me and my family because that was my Dad's bday. Since Julian will never get to meet my dad I think it would be perfect if he could share that special day with my dad. He also gets to share his name. Travis was my dad's first name and that will be Julian's middle name. Anyways, it will be a special day no matter when he makes his arrival.

C Cection or Induction??

Julian wasn't participating for his monthly photo shoot today so no new pictures today. Well I did get a couple pictures but they are very hard to tell what you are looking at.

Dr. Kirshon said Julian looks great! PRAISE GOD! The only concern is his size. He's a little fatty like his mommy :). He is the product of a mother with Diabetes so I guess it is very very normal to have a large baby. So we are thinking he will be here sooner than expected. Probably during the first week of December. YIKES. I go back the Monday after Thanksgiving for my last check up with Dr. Kirshon and I guess that is when we will make the final decision on whether or not we are scheduling a C cection or an Induction.

So week 34 is going great so far. Less than 4 weeks to go!! yay!

How about those legs after a day of wearing boots. I SWEAR those boots are soooo not even tight and they have no heal and the socks usually are falling down. So all I can say is ... daaaannnnnnggg!

Fall Festivals are sooooo much better when they are selling TURKEY LEGS!!! Seriously, how sad is this :)

My job was to help with the cupcake walk... I think I deserve a prize for resisting the temptation and limiting myself to only ONE cupcake for the entire night.

Oh and of course sasage on a stick makes the world a better place :) I was donating to a good cause so back off! haha

So I thought these were too funny and I had to share. They make me look like a big fatty but it is what it is I guess :) I had a great night with my new teacher friends.
